Description
Voice broadcasting consists of calling a list of recipients and playing a pre-recorded message - either to the person picking up the phone or to voice mail.
This can be a useful way to communicate with an audience that is known to you. It's use is controlled by federal law and may not be used to advertise products or services to individual consumers without their permission.
How Does It Work
The process is very simple...
The message to be sent can be pre-recorded and sent to DataMart as a .WAV file or it can be recorded directly at DataMart by making a phone call into an automated system and leaving the message as a voice mail recording.
The list of phone numbers to be called is sent to DataMart in one of several allowable formats. It can be changed each time a broadcast is scheduled or can be maintained at DataMart as a database.
A broadcast is scheduled for a block of time having a beginning time and an ending time. If the broadcast is not finished at the ending time, calling stops and picks up on the next scheduled day.
Upon the completion of the broadcast, a detailed report of call results and an invoice are either faxed or emailed to the client.
Pricing for voice broadcasts varies by quantities and frequency of schedule.
